Welcome to Your Ice Machine Journey!

Owning an ice machine can be a game-changer, but what happens when it doesn't work quite right? This newsletter is here to guide you through the early days of ownership and help troubleshoot common issues. Dive into some practical steps you can take if your machine isn performing at its best.

Safety First
You would want to look at the display board and see if there is any codes and write them down. It’s very important. We know if there’s any codes before we do anything.

Before any inspection, always turn off the power. This step ensures your safety and protects your machine.

Troubleshooting Steps
Check for Blockages: Examine the ice chute and bin for any clumped ice. Remove any obstructions to restore proper flow.

Inspect the Water Line: Ensure the water line is connected correctly and free from kinks or blockages.

Look for Ice Buildup: If you notice ice forming in places it shouldn't might be time to adjust the thermostat or clean the vents.

If you don’t find anything, start the machine up and see if the code comes back if it does, then you need to call technical support.

Preventive Maintenance
Regularly clean your machine interior and exterior. A dirty machine is probably one of the number one reasons why they do not work properly or could shut down.

Are the vents cleaned and free from any debris stacked around the outside and the condenser on the back should not be up against the wall. There should be some clearance between the back of the condenser and the wall.

Replace filters according to the manufacturer recommendations. A new water filter will give you the highest quality of the ice the machine can produce.

When changing the water filter, do not forget to put the date on the filter so you know when it is due to be changed from the date.
